Welcome to
Adventure Thinking.
An innovative and playful way of unlocking human curiosity and resilience
“Without challenge there can be no growth.”
Times are no doubt really tough for everyone. Our world as we know it has flipped upside down. Adventure is an activity with an unknown outcome and right now, we are ALL on one crazy and unprecedented adventure whether we like it or not. The thing is, what I know to be 100% true, is without challenge there can be no growth.
What’s needed more than ever are positive stories of curiosity, creativity and innovation coming from disruption - Adventure Thinking does just that.
Adventure thinking showcases the seeds of greatness that can sprout from moments of challenge and the innate human ability to head off into the unknown and return better.
Jim Collins said it best, ‘Good is the enemy of great. That’s why so few things become great.’
The time is now to reach for great.

Jonesy
Host with the Most
Justin Jones - otherwise affectionately known as Jonesy, is one of Australia’s pre-eminent explorers, keynote speakers, adventure thinkers and storytellers.
Over the past 19 years he has made a career of undertaking huge, epic, record setting expeditions around the world and sharing these on the stage and on screen. To date he’s spoken to over 350,000 people in 20 countries around the world and millions have watched his award winning documentaries.
He’s kayaked across the Tasman Sea from Australia to New Zealand, become the first to ski to the South Pole and back and walked across the Australian Outback with his one year old daughter. He currently holds two Guinness World Records and holds a place as one of Australia’s 50 Greatest Explorers of all time, all achieved before his thirties!
A gloriously ordinary bloke… he is the perfect example of how determination, detailed planning and foresight can enable the most ‘normal’ of us to undertake the most extraordinary feats.
Lauren
Chief of Curiosity
Lauren is an extroverted introvert (yes its a thing). She would rather be the brains behind the operation and she lets Justin think he’s the beauty. Curiosity, connection and kindness are her superpowers.
Lauren is a social entrepreneur and an advocate of using the power of business to solve social and environmental problems. Having worked in strategic roles for large corporates globally over fifteen years, she is a sustainability pioneer with a deep understanding of impact.
Lauren, along with her husband Justin, walked self-supported, 1,800KM, halfway across Australia, through the Outback with their one-year old daughter Morgan. Lauren is a unexpected adventurer, keynote speaker and an advocate for women in the outdoors. She believes adventure and parenthood are the best social experiments to better understand human potential.
Lauren is a (recovering) Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Washington (USA) and a Masters in Sustainable Development from the University of New South Wales (Australia).
